What age should my child start AI tutoring?

We accept students from age 10 and up. At 10–12, children start with visual AI tools (Teachable Machine, Scratch AI) and no-code builders. By 13–15 they move into prompt engineering, chatbot building, and Python basics. Teens 16+ build full-stack AI products deployed to real users. The earlier they start, the larger the head-start — but there is no upper limit. We work with students through high school and into university.

Is this live AI tutoring or pre-recorded video courses?

Entirely live. Every session is a scheduled 1:1 video call with a dedicated human tutor — not a video library, not an AI chatbot, not a group webinar. You book a time that works for your child, and they meet with the same tutor each week who knows their pace, interests, and goals. Pre-recorded courses can teach concepts; live tutoring builds real projects and holds students accountable.

Does my child need any coding experience to start?

No experience is needed. We start from absolute zero — many of our most successful students had never written a line of code. The first few sessions use no-code tools so students experience the excitement of building AI before touching any syntax. Coding is introduced gradually, always in context of a real project the student cares about.

How is this different from just letting my child use ChatGPT?

Using ChatGPT makes your child a consumer of AI. Our tutoring makes them a creator. Students learn how to build and deploy their own AI tools — chatbots with custom personalities, voice agents, image classifiers, and automation workflows — using the same platforms professionals use. They graduate with a portfolio of shipped projects, not just a chat history.

What is the difference between AI tutoring and AI mentorship?

"Tutoring" emphasises the teaching of specific skills; "mentorship" emphasises the long-term relationship and career guidance. We provide both — a tutor for the technical skills and a mentor for the bigger picture.

What devices are required for the online AI class?

Students need a laptop or tablet with a physical keyboard — a phone screen is too small for coding and AI tools. A reliable internet connection and a webcam are all that's needed. We work on Windows, Mac, and Chromebook. No special software to install before the first class — your tutor will walk through setup in session.

What happens when my course is finished?

On completion you receive a verifiable digital certificate and a portfolio of real AI projects you built. We also guide you on next steps — advanced tracks, capstone projects, or applying your skills to real-world problems.

How do I assess the progress made in the classes?

Every student has a personal progress dashboard in the LMS showing completed lessons, quiz scores, and projects shipped. Your tutor reviews progress in each 1:1 session and shares feedback after every milestone.

Can I contact the tutor directly?

Yes. All sessions are 1:1 with your dedicated tutor, and you can reach them between sessions through the in-app chat for questions and project help.

Where are you based and what timezones do you serve?

We are based in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 and serve students across North America, the UK, and internationally. Sessions are available across EST, CST, MST, and PST timezones — your tutor will schedule around your child's routine.

Is my child's safety guaranteed in 1:1 online sessions?

Absolutely. All sessions are conducted live over video with full visibility. Parents are welcome to sit in on any session at any time — no notice required. We encourage it, especially for the first class. We never share student data with third parties and collect only what is needed to deliver the program.
